Has anyone tried using EW flat black to paint the interior trim and dash.

You'd be better off using the stuff from Year One. It's a two stage system. You spray a bonding agent first, followed immediately by the paint. I think the paint is lacquer based, but the bonding agent is a must. Otherwise, the paint will peel right off.

Flat black isn't a good choice for dash and trim paint. Also rattle can paint is not a very durable paint. It will scratch easily and adhesion can be a problem. A better route to go would be to purchase good automotive type paint (i.e eurothane primer and single stage top coats w/hardener and reducer) use with a flattening agent to give you a satin finsh. You can purchase "PREVAIL" sprayers at home depot very cheaply to spray the automotive paint and end up with very good lasting results. Mike, M22
