Can someone tell me the difference between the horseshoe shifter for the turbo 350-400 vs the power glide. I just purchased one from Ebay and want to make sure that it will work on my turbo 350. Pics would be great if anyone has them, either post them or send to drhovey@sbcglobal.net

Thanks

I don't know that there is a diffrence. I did the glide to 350 swap in my 68 & the only thing I had to change was the lens in the console.

I'm pretty sure the detent plate is different between a PG shifter and a TH350 shifter. See link.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, there's no separate detent between "1" and "2", so a PG shifter and TH350/400 shifter are probably the same.

The "detent" plate is inside the transmission. The shifter doesn't care about detents. Just get the correct "Lense". My Chevelle has a 2004R installed with a column shifter. I have never cared about the lense cause I know what gear I am in anyway. Otherwise it works perfectly.
