I posted a topic about Best Wheels. So I figured if I'm gonna get new rims I might as well get new tires. I'm looking at getting 16in. wheels for my 67 Malibu, but I need to know which is the best 16in. wheel and what would be the backspacing and would I have any clearance problems? Thanks.

What width are you looking for? Also, if you read a couple of older posts from David N. (forgot how to spell his last name) and Clint44 they've posted that there is a bigger selection of tires if you go up to 17 inchers.

Steve,
probably 16x8s I don't know about going up to 17s I'll look into it seems a little big for my car though. Will I have to chop up the fenders? That seems to be the trend now.

Hey Jason check here: www.chevelles.com/forum/Forum8/HTML/000198.html (http://www.chevelles.com/forum/Forum8/HTML/000198.html)
Take a look at Srohm's 67' it's clean!
Also if you step up to 17's you can use the 17x10's like strohm did because the wheel will clear the rear shock mount therefore giving you more room to work with!
