Hey folks,
who makes good front bumpers for 72 velle? My buddy's wife backed up into the chevelle and bent mine pretty good. My buddy is headed to Charlotte in April and is going to try and get one there. Any recommendations? Thanks,

Kevin, I just bought a pair of bumpers from Goodmark($199). The front looks and fit great, the rear had some tooling marks but for the money it was ok.

The website is www.goodmarkindustries.com (http://www.goodmarkindustries.com) and thier phone# is 770-339-7562. I don't know if they'll be in Charlotte. They're located in Lawrenceville GA. and since thats not far away they may be there. I got my bumpers within 2 days of ordering them.

Kevin, a couple of the guys from the club have gotten bunpers from NPD. Cost around $210 and very nice quality. The material seems to be a bit thinner gauge steel than the originals, but I plan on buying them for my Elky.

Is it better to get the old ones re-chromed or just buy new ones and sell the old?
It's about the same price except to ship etc.

Hey folks,
I spoke to the good people at Goodmark yesterday. They are about $10 cheaper than most of the other parts places and they sell their bumpers to the better parts places. Looks like I'm going to go with Goodmark. Thanks all!
