I have some big chips and some areas that go to the metal and are rusting. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/frown.gif I want the touch up to look as good as I can get it. What's the best way to apply? I thought, clean and sand a little spot, brush on some primer and then spray the touch up on with a small sprayer. Think it would be worth the trouble to spray or should I just brush on the touch up paint?

well the remedy given here on the board (do a search on chips) is too not sand flat, just get touch up on a brush, and press the tip into the center of the chip and allow the paint too flow out.. Should fill and level itself.. About the rust in them.. I would try too remove it or use a metal prep to kill the rust first. if you are going too sand and prime then spray make sure you feather it out enough too look good.. Good Luck http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
