Is it ok to paint por15 and rustoleum in my garage during the winter months (its about 10-20 here) with propane heaters on? I know it will take longer to dry, but will it cause any problems with how it turns out? Im using por15 on the chassis/suspension and semi gloss rustoleum spray paint on the inner fenders and firewall.

I painted with POR15 some of my suspension parts in the winter months (up here in IL) and used heat lamps to keep them warm. The gloss of the black turned out very different, because of the humidity in the air... Maybe if you paint it all at once. Keep in mind if you dont keep the parts warm, the paint will never dry!

I did the subframe of my wifes Z28 when the garage was about 35-40 degrees. It dried a lot more glossy than the core support that I had done when it was 60-65 degrees inside the garage.
It was so glossy that I had to sand it and coat the subframe with chassis black to get it the color.

Wait until its a little warmer or you will not be happy with the results.
