Hello, im going to rebuild my whole suspension. I went my car to ride like a new car. I would like to know what is a good shock, coil, sway bars for front and back and, a front end rebuild kit. Iam willing to spend the money on good stuff. I have a 1971 chevelle small block. Should i put big block coils and gto sway bars, is that not good. I need to have the BEST. Thanks a lot

My Opinion Is Not To Put Big Block Coils On The Car Unless You Plan On Putting A Big Block In , As Far As Parts And Im Sure Alot Of People Would Agree With Me Is To Get All Your Parts You Need At Napa , They Are Great Parts As Far As Ball Joints Springs Bushings And Such The High Line Napa Part Is Made By Dana And Im Sure You Will Be Happy With The Final Prduct , I Just Put In New Springs Shocks Ball Joints And Bushings Myself And Off Hand I Know That The Springs Ran Around $81 And The Ball Joints He Gave Me For $22 Each Marked Down From $28

Is the setup going to be mostly street, or are you going for a more drag oriented setup?

Edelbrocks shocks are awsome i hated my kyb's.

Many here do not like KYB but I have a set of KYB in my 66SS and couldnt be happier with the ride quality personally. If I were into a more of the pro touring thing, KYB wouldnt be the way to go. Bilstein makes a nice shock too.

I went my car to ride like a new car.That's easy, a stock freshened up chevelle chassis with good shocks and radial tires will ride way smoother than any of these new uni-body mid-size cars out today.

The question is, do you want to out-handle the new ones too? :)

How high or low do you want it to sit? This isn't rocket-science, but we need to know what you want the car to do.

thats exactly what i want to do (not to hijack the post and i think chevelle1971 and i are looking for the same thing) i want to take a beamer on corners and then eat him alive on the streight aways. that would summarize what i want to do with my car 100% so if you know the setup that will allow this please post it here or pm me cuz im interested.
