Is there an antenna built in the glass of the 71 or 72 and can it be used in the 68 wagon.I am getting my 68 wagon ready for paint and would like to shave off the external antenna. I've checked into this already as I have a 69 wagon and my fenders are NOS. No antenna hole. I need to replace my windshield and the 71-72 with antenna fits. 68-72 = same windshield dimensions. 71-72 has antenna in glass. I think a 70 came either way. I'd suggest you verify this with your glass shop, but I'mm 99.9% sure this is right. Nate pop d top Jul 20th, 06, 9:26 AM You will need to get the little "pigtail" that the windshield antenna connects to. You also might need to trim the dash a bit to install that pigtail. Just look at the vehicle you take the pigtail out of to see what/if you'd need to trim for clearance. I'll be doing this to my '69 el Camino. We talked about this in the past. You might want to do a search for "windshield Antenna" or something of the sort. | ||
