I'd move the carpet installation to the top of the list...easier on the knees when installing the rest. ;)

Yep. And I would probably put the front seats somewhere at the bottom of the list. It's much easier to work in the car that way.

Much appreciated fellas. That's exactly the type of things I was hoping to hear. Assuming everything is in front of me and available, Do you all think thta I can get this done in a day. I know some things are going to be a pain (locating all of the holes in the carpet), but I really want to get it done. Am I being realistic?

Should be able to do in one day...even for a first timer.
I suggest either screwing the seat belts and seat frame bolts into the floor before putting in the carpet or have a sharp awl to help locate the bolt holes from the underside of the floorpan. You'll have to cut out and install the grommet for the dimmer switch, too. I've found the a couple single edge razor blades, a pair of scissors, and an Exactor knife work well on the carpet cutting. Don't trim the door sill edges of the carpet until the seats are in place.

Great advice. These are things that I wouldn"t have thought of. Thank you very much for your help.

That seems like a lot to do in one day, especially if you have to assemble the door panels using the old upper metal piece. Let us know how long it took.
