What is done for the inside of the frame? I always see these nice frames, but the insides look as rusty as can be  .

One way would be to first chemically strip (dip) the entire frame then ecoat (also) dip. This can be done by www.ecoatking.com (http://www.ecoatking.com)
A freqent vistitor to this sight had his galvanized.
I had mine sandblasted and powder coated. They did a good job of blasting and coating as far in as they could.

I used one of those Thompson water seal sprayers (looks like a lawn chemical sprayer) to spray POR15 up inside the boxed sections.

My frame is rusty and has some serious pitting. After sandblasting, what can be done to fill it in before powder coating so I can get that smooth look again?

I was thinking about buying one of the Undercoating Systems from Eastwood for around $45.00. It comes with a container and a flexible wand (brake line maybe?) and plugs right into your compressor. I'm looking at trying POR-15 in it. I did already purchase a chimney sweep brush that I will try to scrub as much of the inner frame as possible. The up-ramp at the rear of the frame might get interesting, but we'll work something out. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I seen your website about galvanizing ... I'm familiar with hot dipping, but where did you find a place to do the acid dip / zinc dip for $200? Is it anywhere close to Scranton?

Thanks, Neal

the same place that did the galvanizing. any place that can galvanize must be able to acid dip first. my place is in virginia.
