Thought I would let every one know I made it back to Iowa safely and you guys out there on the east coast now have one less idiot driving around your roads.

I had a great time, saw lots of pretty cool things that you just dont get to see in Iowa. Iam back with a pretty clear head and have things pretty much figured out. I learned alot, I got more out of this then I ever thought I would. The bigggest thing I learned is that I apprecite my area more now, I really do have it easy. Unlike some of those people who I meet in PA, VA and WV they have it rough. You dont realize how easy you have it til you go somewhere were its not there at all.

Even though I didnt see any thing special or spetaclur I got to see a whole new world out there and that was pretty damn cool.

I only wish I could still be out there tooling around aimlessly but I decided to cut it short-my a$$ was killing me.

I did get to meet normie and his lovely wife. Once again thanks I really do appreciate it, thank you for saving me from the homeboys, am sure you could tell but I was scared sh!!less. A white boy from Iowa has no business in Trenton.

You guys have a good one and take care...Eric

Hi Eric, Glad to see that you made it back and things are in a better perspective. Sorry that I did not get to meet you, but you had to clear your head and I am glad that you did and found your way back home. You probably found that the drivers here in the East were pretty bad, Huh. Take care and keep coming here to BS with your buds.

WOW, That was a quick trip. I still envy you. Last time I got to do a road trip it was with my son, 4 great days bumming around midwest, scrounging for cars & parts. That was about 5 years ago, I would do it again tomorrow, if the two of us, didn't have so many commitments now. Hope you stay in our industry, as stated before we NEED good people. Karl

Chev64, if I had realized how close I was to you as I pulled my hair out by the roots as I sat in traffic for a few hours in washington I would had loved to come down here, my bad.

Karl it was a short trip only ten days, wish it could have been more but my cell phone decided to quit working and my rear was really killing me. I think am gonna stay in the field, Ive been looking into a few small business loans and a few other things.

Deon sorry I didnt make it down and give some hands on on that rear panel, but just drop me line anytime and Ill be glad to help out anyway I can.

I had such a great time Iam thinking of making this a yearly deal. Just packing a few things and driving around the country aimlessly, theres just something relaxing about being on the open road with the windows down and the tunes cranked.
Texas watch out here I come, you guys have a good one...Eric

When you get to Texas, stop in to say hi in Houston. We have a bunch of TC members here. Glad you had a good time, I followed the thread closely. Too bad it wasn't longer. It truly is a wonderful thing to be young, and know you have the whole world ahead of you. Take care Eric. Kevin

Hah! All you guys who didn't get to meet Eric missed out! He drove two hours out his way today to check out my 'velle, and he is a hell of nice guy who knows quite a bit about body work. Wish you the best Eric, what ever you do.
