For a good bellhousing its almost the same price if not more than a lakewood bellhousing/ scatter shield. I believe the one I would use is the 77-150? Someone on eBay has them for a little less than Summit. Are these difficult to put in? Do I need different than stock bolts? Just like to get a few opinions. To my door the lakewood 77-150 would be like $205, doesnt seem too too bad... This is for the 454 w/ muncie conversion.

And an adjustable pivot ball, and you have to set it. You will also need to run it out and make sure it is square and inline with the crank. And depending on your headers I have heard they make oil filters hard to remove...um...unless you need a scattershield I'd get an 11" aluminum bell and be done with it.

For an added measure of safety even though my car is never tracked and hardly run hard, I bought a steel flywheel.

Steel flywheel and aluminum GM BH would be safe and ready to go? Sounds good, I like to slam it on the street every once in a while but it definately doesnt get hit hard or track time. If it'll be cool w/ out a scatter shield I'll just go with what was said before... thanks for the advice so far!
