From my previous post about being able to drop in the BBC with bellhousing and massive TKO tranny and the Moroso pan.....
Original post (http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137231)

It actuall fit in as one unit. I had a leveler on there and came at it with a real sharp downward angle. It was tight, but it fit nicely.
Rick came over and helped me today (ricks_67). Thank goodness he did!! I never would have been able to do that job without him. Thanks Rick  It took some constant manuvering and about 45 minutes start to finish. Then we realized that I had not dropped in the headers yet:clonk: DOH!!! Back up it came, dropped headers in and then put motor back in. That made it a bit tighter, but still fit. Rick saved me a ton of work.
As a bonus,.....the valve covers fit with the stock 11" booster. I have about 3/4" space. (looks closer in the pic than actual).
Hooray!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again Rick! I appreciate it

Jim,
Your much better off giving me those nasty looking valve covers so you have better clearance near that booster :D

Yep, that is the plan. I've been itching to fire this thing up for months now. Hopefully sometime this week, I should be able to turn the key and hear a roar. Gotta do all of that little stuff...alternator, power steering, electrical hookup, exhaust, driveshaft, radiator fans, water pump,.......blah blah blah.

Vince,...no deal on the valve covers, :waving: I need them to clear the Jesels.

Thanks guys!!

Jim - Hey, you're almost there, good work. Those tilt adapters (levelers) have got to be one of the best things since sliced bread. At least with the tilting and a second pair of hands (and eyes) to move the headers around, you can install the motor and tranny in one piece.

I used a leveler on mine when I first installed the engine with the tranny attached. I could not have done it without it.
