How do i get the center thing off? i tried yanking it and it didnt want to come off. also the wheels are rusty, can i sandblast them and then paint them? if so what colors should i do?

If these are the original 70 SS wheels there will be 2 screws through a keeper that you'll have to remove from the back side. The correct paint and a stencil can be purchased through our sponsor, Ground Up Restorations. There are links to Ground Up all over this site.

I just busted out with a 100 bucks and got 2 15x10 and 2 14x7 cragar ss wheels that were chrome. otherwise you can pull out the steel wool for the chrome parts and use some of that kewl flat grey color that comes on the new bullet wheels.
