depends on the year of muncie, speedo slug changed from driver side(same as auto trans) to passenger side, so you will need a cable for a manual trans
car. gm still has cable available if you can find a parts man that can read parts books ;)

M-22 Speedo cable attachment is on the pass. side of the tranny. On my camino I got a cable for a Chevy van. To be correct- on the bottom of the tranny, The 3/4" left side bottom bolt has a bracket to hold the cable as it heads for the right frame rail to make a -U- turn and head back to the tranny. To get close on length.----Run your 350-400 cable under the tranny, Back off one of the 3/4" studs and wire the cable to a tranny bolt. Then use some wire to make a loop to the tranny where it screws in, or do what I did start trying different cables untill you trip over the right length. I got into this mess because I thought all cables for a 70 were thr same and pitched my org.Can you say I was a dumd A--S

Thank you all.. I will be going down under this week, so I think I have enough info on hand now that if I cant make this one fit,I will just buy the larger, longer cable that seems correct.. They offer one arround 58 and another 70 something inches.... Thanks again phil
