Been so long since iv'e had to remove a wiper arm, is there a tool for releasing the arm from the stud? or is there just a trick! Thanks, Mike, M22

Mike
the arm has locking tab that must be pulled to the side as you lift up on the arm.
CAN be PITA.I tape up the area under the wiper with masking tape three layers so JUST incase there is a SLIP it's no problem.

If you can get to my site (I can't right now), I've got a couple of pictures of one at this page (http://www.dalesplace.com/htm/stuff/wiper_tool.htm). If you can't get there, email me at 396guy@lcisp.com and I'll email you a couple of photos.

You might want to try Snap-On part number A192. It's great little tool that doesn't even touch the body at all.
