I was going to put a fuel cell in but I've changed my mind. When you order the new tank does it come with the filler neck installed? And has anyone ordered from Impala Bob's chevelle restoration.? I saw there tanks in there for 178.$$ Seems like a good price ya think??

sundell's service is impecable.i couldn't be any happier with them.every time i've dealt with them.i don't know about the prices.give them a call and check it out.as far as year one.their service is very good.and the price for a tank with a neck.is $229.00 you can call year one and get a free catalog their number is 1-800-yearone. but i would try sundells first. i don't think you'll be disapointed.

Call Ground up. See what they can do. I just replaced the tank in my 72. Their regular price is $199, with the neck attached. It was drop shipped from a place called the Parts Store (or Place).

Honey, its not a $200 hat. The distributor was $200, the hat came with it. kevin d

It is not a big deal to have a neck soldered in at a radiator shop. I had my 69's neck repaired, a -10 AN fitting soldered into the bottom of the tank and a -8 AN fitting on the left rear near the top of the tank for $70.00. I now have a stock looking tank capable of supporting a 220 GHP elecric fuel pump and a fuel return line and still have a working fuel gauge too. They were more than happy to do the custom work and asked me to please bring the car by when I get it finished. They also offered to build me a custom radiator that looks totally stock and will handle cooling a 700 HP motor's heat.
