I just got my 70 SS chevelle running and took it down the road and heard a vibration in the trunk area.Well the car sat for 11 years before i bought it and[THANK GOD FOR CLEAR COAT]since this saved the cars body when it was sitting.Anyway I looked at the trunk and noticed that someone took the lock out and was using a screwdriver to open trunk and the rain got in thru the lock hole and rusted the bottom of the bracket in trunk that holds the trunk closed.The top of this bracket is fine but how can i correct this problem.Can i spot weld or would it be better to replace whole bracket.Thanks Tom
