ok, i was browsing ebay to see some chevelles and i noticed that the stripes looked skinny. Well, then i looked at all my magazines and they look skinny too. Well i guess the stripes on my car are just fat. I dont know what to do. My chevelle is a 71 SS clone. Blue with white stripes. Should i get the stripes kit from OPGI or scrap the whole SS clone thing and paint it a solid color? I am missing the "Chevelle by chevrolet" trunklid emblem, its on backorder, and with the stripes i dont think it will fit. What should i do. Opinions, Adavice? Thanks

You should find a real SS and measure the stripes from it. That's what I did back in the early 80's for my 70 Malibu "gypsy SS" then just lay it out from the measurements. Or you could buy a stencil kit from almost any vendor.

If I remember correctly, the trunk emblem sits on top of the stripe so that shouldn't be a problem.
