Hey just wondering if i can change the gasket without raising up the motor?Has anyone done this before?When i was adjusting my timing and carb it backed fired out the carb.Could the pressure from that bolw you pan gasket.Its a small 350 mild build.

Yes you can change remove the oil pan while in the car. However installation of the new gasket is very difficult when using a stock 2 piece. My suggestion for you is to get a One Piece gasket. I bought my last one at NAPA. It's made by Victor Reinz. The part number is OS30568RLH if your dipstick is on the driver's side.
