coico Dec 26th, 99, 5:15 PM Does anyone know of a description of the operation of the vacuum and electronically operated controls on the '70 - '71 Cowl Induction Hood option ?? Or can anyone explain the operation in a brief note ? Interested in knowing if you need both the control types or if the vacuum system alone is enough.... Thanks flywheel Dec 26th, 99, 6:40 PM the vacuam dashpot opens the outside door, the electric switch under the gas pedal opens the inner flap door letting the air to the carb.Both need to work together to get air to carb.....
