I just got a 72 Chevelle with idiot gauges and every time I push in the E-Brake the Gen Light comes on. The farther I push the pedal the brighter the light gets. Does anyone have any Ideas what may be causing this. Thanks

Check to make sure the pedal is not touching wiring coming out of the fuse box on the fire wall in back of the em brake pedal.

Pop the e-brake light out and see if it still does that.

It was the wiring for the E-Brake light. My wiring needs some serious help. I also managed to blow out 3 fuses while under the dash. Thanks for all of the help.
