Why not tell the guy you are wanting more, but if you don't get a better offer in a week you'll contact him. Then throw it up on Ebay for a week and see what happens. Or just flat out tell him you're going to list it on Ebay and he's welcome to bid on it.

However ebay buyers are nutz and will pay way more then the car is actually worth.

He came by yesterday with $5K in his pocket and upped the ante to $28,000.00 which was going to be my reserve price on Ebay anyhow...now I have just saved myself the hassle of answering all the dumb questions that can come up.

I needed to sell the car pretty quickly as my income has been greatly reduce by the soft job market around here. So I am using the cash to pay off some healthy bills and get my stuff back on track.

Thanks for all the help from you guys in building the car and I WILL do another one when things get fatter around here...

Just so happens I sold the car one day short of owning it for 6 years...HHMM must be in the cards to buy one next July 10th..
