I have some rust over the "middle" floor pan brace (including the brace) on passenger side www.iqinspections.com (http://www.iqinspections.com) (click on chevelle button) I want to order the 1/2 floors out of Ground Up but cannot figure out which pans I need "front" or"rear" and what can I do about the tunnel in that same area ? Any advice will help.

Looked at your pictures on your site and it appears you can get away with a rear half pan, Dont know how far they goe up into tunnel, you will have to ask them, Check into goodmark full length pans they have the biggest coverage into tunnel thats what I installed into my 66. Beats spot patching. Im sure some one else will chime in here.

I am doing the same thing, Im replacing both full lengh floor pans, the coverage handles most of the tunnel, i bought them from ground up. Hey frank i have a 66 chevelle also, when i lay in the new floor, at the tunnel and it does not sit flush at the overlap? i even bolted it down where the seats go, and still i have about as 3/4 inch gap.. have any suggestions for welding that? I want it to lay flat when i weld the overlap right? bend it?

Frank, on my floorpans there was a gap here and there, you need a friend to apply pressure and then spot weld when flush, they never fall in and fit flush all the way around, it takes hours of fitting and patience, dont be afraid of hammering into flush position. keep working at it. It took me 4 months to do floor pans braces, and trunk floor etc.
