Is it that difficult to find a manual brake rod for my 69 chevelle? I have done a search and tried the restoration catalogs. Any ideas? Do you have one you want to let go? Thanks,

pretty common should be the same up to 72, just try to find a 4 door no option donor car. should be pretty plentiful. Jim

Thanks for the reply Jim. I'd rather not buy a whole car to get 1 part if I can help it. Any other ideas?...anyone?

Thanks Dean, sorry about the post but I tried in the wanted section with no luck. The rod is the one connecting the brake pedal to the master cylinder. Thanks anyway....

Whoops, I didn't mean get a whole car, what I did was when I was junkyarding I spotted a 4 door and grabbed the kick panels and while I was under there I noticed it was a manual car so I just grabbed the rod also, since I went with a later manual disc master and it came with the wrong rod. Jim

I just converted to manual brakes, and didn't have time to check the wrwecking yards (not much old stuff anyway)... I got a new one from Master Power brakes...

$20+ with shipping... Of course, now I am bound to find one in my junk collection...
