After releasing the parking brake the pedal assembly uses a small spring to pull back the detent that meshes with the large gear to lock the parking brake. This spring keeps the detent away from the large gear when the parking brake is not in use. On my pedal assembly, the spring has come loose (or is broken) and is not pulling the detent back. Does anybody know where on the detent the other end of the spring attaches to? Its hard to see inside the assembly. I was hoping that someone might have access to a diagram of some sort.
