recently i lost almost complete brake pressure at idle in my 72 chevelle, i currently have disk in front with drums in the rear. I get some break pressure when i rev the engine, but have no idea what happened...NEED help ASAP PLEASE....thanks marc

Have you checked the vacuum line from the intake, and made sure it is intact/no cracks? Could be that, or a bad booster. How big is the camshaft? Need more info.

You said "recently I lost almost complete brake pressure" is there anything that led up to this, any recent repairs or modifications?

im not sure of the cam size, but i did nothing abnormal to lead up to this. How could i tell if it is a bad booster? Can it be the master cylinder and if it is how can i tell? the engine is a 383 stroker if that helps.

Now today i forgot to tell you guys that i have no brake pressure at all.....F@*k....PLEASE HELP dont know where to start.

start by looking at the inside of your wheels for brake fluid. could be a crack in a line or a bad wheel cylinder. Check for fluid leak where master cylinder bolts to power booster.

What is happening? Is your pedel going to the floor or is the pedel rock hard?
rock hard pedel and slow breaking would be power booster or vacume hose. pedel to the floor is loss of pressure mainly caused by a leak. having to pump the pedel is due to air in lines and or a bad master cylinder.
