I thought I had it together on the the right and wrong way to install the slotted/drilled rotors, but now I'm having second thoughts. Maybe just tired and thinking too much! My rotors are unmarked as for as either a 'left' or 'right'. Can someone post a picture to help me assure myself that I have installed the rotors correctly. If so, maybe I will be able to sleep tonight without rotors appearing in my dreams.
Thanks.

Turn the rotor so that the bottom(against the axle) of one of the slots is on top. The slot should lean towards the rear of the car.
(ie Drivers Side slot should go up and right /, Passenger up and left \)
jeez, that seemed simple enough in my mind, but it sure was difficult to describe!!

Unless the rotor has directional vanes you can put the slots pointing any way you want.
In my experience most slotted rotors with directional vanes (including mine) end up with the slots sweeping forwards when you have the vanes pointing in the right direction. If this is the case, if you're standing on the driver's side of the car, the slots on the top of the drivers side rotor should be facing this way, sweeping/pointing towards the front of the car: \
Good pic of directional vanes here: http://www.stainlesssteelbrakes.com/brakeproducts/brakerotors/Rotors
