My factory lower a/c bracket will not work with headers, only stock manifolds. I spoke with guys at Jegs and Summitt, both of which were very rude, anyway I was told since I didn't buy my headers from them they couldn't really help me. I did purchase a bracket from Summitt that does not work, Headman Headers part# 20110. My headers are Stan's TRI-Y design. Even if I had Headman this bracket would not work for my factory a/c set up. I really need help as it is HOT!!!!!!!!! As always thanks. Brian

My friend just left the bottom bracket off on his big block chevelle. Jim

I left it off on my '70 Elky (small block) and it was fine.

big or small block? add spacers to small block equal to exh manifold less header flange, big block depends on bracket and head configuration, I had to remove the lowest bolt hole of bracket to make it fit mine
