I'll be putting my body back Friday and I have a question on body bushings, Does the metal washer go on the body side or does it face the ground? The bushings I've got are stock replacement from OPG with the bolt and washers, but it has a flat round metal piece with them. In short should any of the metal washers be touching the body? Thanks in advance for your help.

Wiggens. There should be 2 metal pieces http://www.si.hhs.nl/~rob/images/scanned/197_pnt_bdy_mnt_bsh.jpg
The shaped one (in front of the picture) goes on top (against the body). The flat washer goes on the bottom (facing the ground). No metal will touch the chassis. Hope this helps.

Where did you acquire all of the needed bushings/bolts/washers? I ordered a bushing kit from summit racing and a bolt/washer kit from another supplier and it didnt include the washers with the sleeves on them. I checked with GM and they have discontinued 2 of the 6 needed mounts. Where can I find what I need for the body mounts and have all the needed parts?

I beleive OPG was the company that sold me individually the correct size ones I needed. If you get real stuck email me and I will go look at my old post to find out for sure if it was OPG or to see if I have the ones you need laying around the barn. I have a few of them.
