Can anyone tell me aprox. how much it was to have a paint job with SS stripes done on their 72 chevelle? Just about all the trim is off of my 72 because it is still in "project" shape.

I'm saying a paint job and the stripes, not just the stripes. Thanks

With the information you have provided......my best guess would be....between $200 & $8000. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/eek.gif
Really though, I am doing my own work with Dupont materials, and have no rust repairs, and have $600 in materials alone, and have not bought base coat or clear. Just Metal etch and Epoxy primer.
You have to decide what kind of paint job you want. Show car = big $$, a reasonable quality job $3-4000, and do-it-yourself $1-3000, bottom quality jobber $5-1500.
In my opinion, unless you are repairing panels, don't start body work until you have to. And then don't take 1 panel down to metal unless you have materials to at least get it Epoxy primered.
