Anybody want to list the pros and cons of each?

I like the enclosed trailers, but I am having a hard time with the idea of using it only 5 to 10 times a year.

How easy or hard is it keep the car clean going down dirt roads with a car hauler?

i've never used an enclosed trailer, but i have a few buddies with them. mostly dudes with race cars that do serious competing. my main problem is price. i would rather spend a few more bucks and some time to wash my junk then be paying for an enclosed one. just my opinion..... i love my good ole' flat trailer just simple and sturdy.

Enclosed- PRO's No matter the weather, your car stay's clean and dry. It's a portable garage, your car is safe and secure. CON's Takes up more room to store, Heavy, harder to tow. Will blow around in cross winds.------------------Open-PRO's Lighter, easy to tow, takes up less room to store, can be used for many things other than just a car. CON's-car is less secure, car is open to the eliments.!!!!!!!!! I have a 16' full deck open trailer that I use to tow my Chevelle. I love the way it pulls. I borrowed my bosses 24' enclosed once. It pulled OK, Except when I ran into a Tstorm. With a 15mph head wind, It was very hard to maintain highway speeds.
