Hi everybody, I have been looking for the past 5 months for an old Mickey Thompson Cross Ram intake for a big block chevy/oval port heads, and have not had any luck. Any ideas??

Have you tried a WANTED AD in the classifieds?

www.chevelles.com/classifieds (http://www.chevelles.com/classifieds)

You might try the same thing on www.craigslist.org (http://www.craigslist.org), or www.motors.ebay.com (http://www.motors.ebay.com)

Just in case you missed it, wanted and for sale items are not supposed to be posted in the forums. The classisifeds are for that.

If you find one that you don't want, please let me know because I would love to have one too. I have not seen an oval port big block yet either.

Am I crazy. I was a teenager back in the mid to late 60s. I was in to GTO'S back then, had a 68, and 69, but I could swear I remember seeing the Cross Ram's for BB chevys with oval port heads on a few Chevelle's and Camaro's. I think Edelbrock, offenhauser, and Mickey Thompson all had them back then, along with the Tunnel Ram's that everybody had on their engines. Is there anybody on this site that can remember back that far??

check offy. they seem to have a few oddball items. PAW has a lot of their stuff in their catalog. i'm 44 and have been fooling with this stuff since i was 18 and never have seen one. i also have looked. it is possible to use a square port intake on oval port heads with the square gasket. perhaps that is what you might have seen. TR's are very easy to find for oval port heads. let us know how your search goes. here is some edelbrock info>>>

Offenhauser has one, but doesn't say oval or rectangle. It's #OFF-5715 from the P.A.W catalog, and is $471.95. Only works with stock height valve covers.
