Know anything about this place? There was a charge to them we didn't make.

I have talked to the CC co. & have a new no. being issued. This is the second time in about a month someting like this has happened.
Another card but they alerted us to it someone tried to buy a computer with our CC no. got a new account issued on that one too.

Hopefully I'm not going to end up like the commercial on TV!!!

Been there a few times.

One of the dangers of online purchasing, too. I keep a close eye on our statements/receipts.

Whenever a charge shows up, I find myself going to the wife: "Gee, someone stole our credit card AGAIN. Look! Amazing, they even shop at the same store you do..."

Then she sheepishly hands me the receipt thats in the bottom of her purse.

Receipts ON MY DESK, PLEASE! :)

That has never happened to me (knock on wood...), but I'm sure my wife will catch it in no time. Went to Lowe's a while ago, and my wife called me at the office just a couple of hours later: "And what exactly did you buy for $80 at Lowe's today?". Oh, the miracles of on-line banking... can't get away with anything anymore. :D

That company is only the middle man between you and the store you bought something online with. They are in charge of processing your credit card. You might want to talk your CC company and find out the store that something was bought at.

Yep, when I pay my VISA bill it shows up on my bank statement as some "payment system" thing, not who I wrote the check out to. Pretty common. But, the one you link to looks different. More like PayPal kind of deal. Looks like an easy way to mask purchases from someone else's card if you knew the basic info.

I have one credit card that I use for most local stores/restaurants (places I trust more), and a completely separate credit card used for on-line/catalog purchases (I also use it for gas)...

That way, its usually pretty easy to spot something unusual... But every once in a while something pops up that takes me 1/2 hour to figure what its for... Thankfully, I haven't had anything "bad" happen yet...

You should Google that name and see if there are any sites that discuss that company. I got "signed up" unknown to me to some monthly horsepoop charge for useless services when I made an online purchase. I called the company to find how they got me hooked up and it was some automated thing resulting from a purchase from JC Whitney. Visa looked into it for me and got back several months (all!!) of the charges.
