I found a place where I can get inserts to box my original LCA's. My question is, I already have bushings installed, do you think I will hurt them by welding in these inserts? I think they are Poly type not rubber.

On most poly bushings the bushing itself is not adhered to the bushing shell. You should be able to push the bushing out and leave the shell in the arm and replace the bushing when you are done welding and painting. If not, the bushings might get hot enough to make some of the bushing grease ooze out, but likely not enough to damage the bushings themselves. Just make sure to do one weld on an arm, then move to the other one and do a weld there. By going back and forth from arm to arm you should be able to avoid overheating things.

I've welded the inserts in after installation of the bushings...heat is not an issue if caution is taken like Rich mentioned.
