I know the USA-1 radios are not a big hit (pun intended...)
But what about the Kenwood 501, 601 and 801 radio's??

Has anyone tried them......??

Also do the USA-1 radios sound bad through the "RCA-OUTS" or just through the built in amp......??

just bought a $200 radio from OPG and a "replacement dash speaker" . Have not installed yet, is this the same "USA 1 " you refer to? And I question if the speaker (dual stereo type ) will actually fit in stock location .

I'm not sure what you purchased, but the one I'm refering to is made by "Custom Auto Sound".....

Ken Thompson (?) 100 w with cassette player...has blue bowtie on tape door . Fits opening nicely but is not slanted to match dash face. RCA outs for aux CD,built inline filter on 12v in.This is only brand NPD or OPG now offers.
Any experience on speakers ?
