: How do I align my windows?

I need help aligning my passenger side door window on my 64 Malibu. I'll try to explain this as best I can. The windows are OK height wise, and they are also OK as far as being correctly placed in the vent window channel. The problem I have is that the top of the passenger door window "sticks out" towards the outside of the car and there is a gap of about three quarters of an inch between the quarter window weatherstripping that the front window should rest against when the door is shut and the door glass. The door is properly seated in the car so no issues regarding door alignment. Any ideas? Does anyone have a schematic of what nuts and bolts need to be loosened and moved to make this window align properly? As always...Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

I'd LOVE to know this one myself.

This is going to be a hard one for me to explain, so bear with me.
There are 5 major adjustment point on a 64/67 door. all working in conjuction with one another to 1st perform window operation
up/down and next to seal out the weather.
The two 7/16 bolt heads at the top and bottom of the rear door. alingn the rear galss run channel. The two at he bolt heads at the inside rear top area are the stop anti rattle and the one on the front door top and lowere front are the vent glass/run channel adjustments.
The front vent run channel dictates alot of the window UP performance and sealing capability.
The front vent lower adjuster is a threaded wit ha slot head on one end and a big washer headed jam nut.
This will most likly be rusted in the vent run channel, if so you still can adjust it buy the jam nut.

The process is inter-reactive So by moving the bottom runchannel to the outside the top of the window in the up position tilts IN
The Fisher body manual is a must to fully understand this dance routine.

And as far as adjusting the seal against the verticle quarter window seal, it is probably that the quarter window is out of adjustment, not the door glass. Adjust the wing window and door glass first and get them to fit in the openning like you want, then adjust the quarter window to fit in the remaining space. The quarter window has the same top & bottom and front and rear adjustments as the door glass channels but everything in the quarter window is much more sensitive (a little movement at the adjuster makes a great deal of change at the glass).
