Finally located a set of SS body trim for the 64 I am restoring, only one problem, the drivers side fender piece is broken off about 6 inches on the end, my question, being none are availible aftermarket, is there some other moulding that someone has used to make a piece, and if so can I TIG weld it back together if i can find such a piece.

This is your lucky day. I think I have an extra drivers side fender trim piece that you could have. This extra trim piece came with my car when I bought it (from previous owner). I think it's in pretty decent shape. I'll take a look at it tonight and let you know.
