I have been kicking around the idea of a big block in my '64 just want to know what I got to do motor mounts,headers,trany mounts anything you can think of.I have a 383 now but I may put a big block together over the next year or so if it's not going to be a pain in the butt.

Big Block coil springs.

The same mounts your 383 are sitting on will work for a big block. All the accessory brackets are different but the alt and power steering pumps are the same and you will need different headers.

like said above its basically a plug and play with the exception of the acces brackets. I put mine in place of a 400 sbc no problems
