hey guys , my friend has a 90 rs camaro...5.0 TBI engine. we want to flip his ride, sadly i know nothing about fuel injection and all that computer stuff. the engine seems to be stock....except for some headers. can we and how would we install bigger jets in his car? also what other mods could we do to pump his engine up? were gonna put in new shocks in a few weeks too. it has air conditioning.. power brakes... and its a auto. thanks.

There are no "jets" for EFI motors, you would change the injector itself to a higher lbs injector. I would suggest searching the web for fbody and 3rd generation sites. I use to have them but this is a new computer. They have info and forums specifically for EFI. Hope this helps.

Besides bigger injectors, maybe a computer chip, better free flowing exaust, nitrous....

You said you wanted to "flip his ride"....that's easy....get some ramps and get the car up to speed...hit one of the ramps at a high rate of speed and the car should torpedo airborne.....just like in the movies. :D

HAHAHAH good one! flip* wow hahaha well today we fix some vacuum leaks and the car responds way better now. i think were gonna leave the injectors, or maybe even supercharge it.... i think vortec make s one for the year and model, when we found the supercharger for his car his eyes got super big and looked like a kid in a candy store! haha

I tossed the TBI and swirl port heads for a TPI top end. TBI ain't worth the effort IMO.

"Flip" means to resell. If you are doing all this and asking all these questions with a purpose to resell..... save your money. You will never regain your investment. Don't believe what you see on TV. If he is actually KEEPING the car, go to the Camaro site, they will have all the answers on the computerized small block.
