Does anybody know wher the crankshaft positioning sensor is on a 95 silverado 4.3 liter engine. I was told to look at the front of the engine by the harmonic balancer and I have had no luck finding it there. I have an older 4.3 and it is located by the oil filter, but not on this truck. I need to get this thing fixed soon. thanks, Cliff

I have a 99 silverado and the starter had to be pulled out to change that sencer.That should help some:beers:

have you tried AutoZone website? they have a component location help center. Are you sure it's a 95? doesnt show one for a 95
