Well I hooked up the sence wire and the turn on wire to the alt. And heres what I 've got now:
@ the alt. with fan ,w/p 14.08
@ the batt,with all the same 13.78.
These seem alittle worst that my previous test.Didin't check the voltage with the lights on but looking @ the volt meter in car ,it dipped to 12v and then rose slightly to around 13 as you could here the motor drag as well. Also when I hit on the w/p the belt sqeels at first before the volts rise up to 13 or so .
Any other suggestions or is this acceptable? Thanx again forthe help

Honestly the readings in the other post were better. Where did you connect the sense wire to? Try running the engine at a fast idle to see if the readings improve. These readings are still ok. The belt squeeling isn't any good though, maybe it was just a little lose. I would not worry what the voltmeter inside the car says, if the fan and WP are still wired to the original fuse box, voltage will always be lower there. They really need to be wired off the horn relay, and put on their own relays.

I connected the sense wire to the brown wire from the old regulator harness, and the other wire(hot) to my junction block.
So your saying I should run the fan,at least off the horn relay? At least for now untill I get to putting in the new fuse block(which I haven't yet) work sucks. :-( Should I go back to the one wire configuration to do this also,or leave it as is? Thanx

 The brown wire is the alt turn on wire, not the sense wire. The brown should go to terminal 1 at alt.

Yes. the fuse box only has a 12g from horn relay to feed it and everything else (IGN switch and headlight switch) I would leave the alt wired as a 3 wire, just make sure you have it wired correctly.

Sorry Greg ,I do have it hooked up as you explained. If I'm lookijng at the horn relay(from the drivers seat) as it is on the rad. support, I hook the fan to the RIGHT side of the relay yes? Passenger side?

It doesn't make any difference what side you use. The horn relay buss bar is just a common connection point. Either side is fine.
