i have a 71 ss elky w/ LS-5 & cowl induction hood. the motors new and yet to be started but my question is about intake and cowl hood air cleaner assembly. the motor came w/ a torker intake and i am wondering if the stock cowl induction air cleaner set-up will work w/ the torker? or can i remove the aluminum spacer and still use torker? last, should i just sart looking for a gm aluminum intake f/LS-5?

Get a good manifold. One the carb sits on straight. The torkers are really old school.
