Since I started my 70 into 71 front end conversion Ive decided to replace my fenders, both sides. Heres the tricky part. I don't like the front lower turn signals on the 70's, I like the 71' Fenders better there clean with no markers. So if I buy the 70's Ill have to weld them out or just use them, if I buy new 71's Ill have to weld on little tabs to hold on my fender extensions. I think I will be alot easier off getting 71' fenders. I hope someone agrees. graemlins/hurray.gif

NPD has them for $249 and groun up has them for $329 Big BIG difference. When buying both sides, are they greatly different?

I can't help with your technical question about years, but I hear that Goodmark has the best steel for our cars i.e. fenders, quarters, door skins, etc.... Someone correct me if I'm wrong.. ;) I'll be nuying new front fenders (inside and outside) as well as a radiator support, but not sure who to buy from yet. I'm leaning toward Goodmark.
