YES. It is the best if you want a "correct" look and No clear needed. My trunk is done with it, seen on my web page below.

Most paint stores will have it. NAPA auto parts stores have it or can get it from their distribution center.

Thanks for the replies. I'm working on a 69 SS. Does anybody know what paint code the black/aqua would be.

Sorry for jumping in on the thread but I have a similar question. I'm touching up my trunk with the GM black/aqua spatter paint. I understand that it needs a satin finish clear over it. Does anyone know what the best one to use would be?

I used Zolatone in the rear area of my 64 wagon. The reason was for it's durability.

Zolatone is available through most automotive paint supply shops. It's available in a whole bunch of different color combinations. If you can't get a flyer that shows the different colors, try some other shop.

I don't think it's correct to refer to it as a "spatter" paint. It's a combination of colors that don't mix. That's what causes the "look".

I recently used "Krylon Clear Matte Finish" which worked fine - satin finish clear. The paint can number was 47120.
