SBC making 425 horses and 430 torque, backed by 4 speed and 4:10 Moser rearend.

My driveshaft is the stock unit with a 1310 u joint in the front and a crossover in the rear. 1310 on the driveshaft side and 1350 on the rear end side. Moser rear end comes with a 1350 series yoke.

I know it will break at some point.

Will it take sticky tires, like slicks and drag radials????

Yeah, but for $275, a Denny's HD shaft with 1350s on both sides is a good investment. I dont hardly race my car and I've bent the rear yoke. Clutch cars can be brutal on stuff. Alwyas let the tires spin some I hear, and its something I'll do from now on. This with street slicks.

Get a heavy duty drive shaft but not 4" it will give you clerance problems with the drive shaft loop. It only costs a little more to go first class!

I'm using a shortened/balanced stock driveshaft with SPICER solid U-joints. No problems so far :clonk: I'm not hitting it like a stick, but flashing from 1500 to 4800 or so. You don't want u-joints with zerk fittings, definately makes them weaker. Then again, you might want the u-joints to give before the transmission does.
