We used to have a speedometer calibration place here in good ol' Fayetteville (Speedometers Unlimited) but it appears they packed up and moved/left/went out of buisness some years back....did a 411 on them and turned up nothing.

I'm needing to have a speedometer checked for accuracy....if anyone knows of one in the Fayetteville area or maybe a little outside that it would be a true blessing.

Well I actually need written data on documents to fight a speeding ticket in court....if I can prove my truck's speedo was off I can possibly get the charge reduced, if not thrown out. :)

The only people I know that can do this is a speedo calibration shop...they'll record the differences in speed on your car vs. their machine on a piece of paper....then you take that to court as your evidence.

Years ago there used to be a place in Raleigh. I'm sorry I can't remember the name. Check the net or ask around.
