Got a problem with the El Cam!! I pulled the motor out the other week to do some detailing (painting) of it and the engine compartment. While it was out I used my Manely on the motor valve spring compressor and air cylinder tool to change out the umbrella valve seals (some were torn). I also installed a new intake. Now, when the engine gets hot, it starts to smoke out the right bank. I pulled the plugs and #6 and #8 have some oil on them?? I thought it might have been the intake gasket not sealing.....not so. I redid that and it still smokes when hot!! I did not have the heads off this motor. I did change the oil pan gasket though, but was sure I didn't get anything in the bottom end that would score the cylinders. What did I do or miss??

you may already have had bad guides and some of seal aren't seating well.

Anyone else have any ideas??
