Enforcer505 Jun 29th, 06, 9:32 PM I would like to convert my manual brakes (only the brake cylinder) into power brakes (with the booster) in my 72 chevelle. my question is, would i have to change the brake lines that go to the equalizer value, because there not long enough? i want to get all the parts at once instead of going all over the place for it. Thanks in advance! Olle Jun 29th, 06, 10:04 PM They might be long enough if you remove the retainer clip that holds them to the firewall, and uncoil and stretch the brake lines. This can possibly work, but I wold definitely not do it. Brake lines are flexible, but 35 year old lines may be less forgiving to bending and pulling. Get new lines and git-r-done!
