I would like to convert my manual brakes (only the brake cylinder) into power brakes (with the booster) in my 72 chevelle. my question is, would i have to change the brake lines that go to the equalizer value, because there not long enough? i want to get all the parts at once instead of going all over the place for it.
Thanks in advance!

They might be long enough if you remove the retainer clip that holds them to the firewall, and uncoil and stretch the brake lines. This can possibly work, but I wold definitely not do it. Brake lines are flexible, but 35 year old lines may be less forgiving to bending and pulling. Get new lines and git-r-done!

Enforcer, if you are going to shop for lines or any other brake part, I just completed my converssion and ordered almost everything from www.rightstuffdetailing.com. The lines were a perfect fit and they are very good people to deal with.
