Hey all, it has been a while since I posted. I have been busy on dad's 53' 5 window P/U we have the doors stripped to bare metal and then etch primed with epoxy over them. We did all the filler work over the epoxy and I now have several small areas that I am going to etch again since they are bare steel again. My question is should I Epoxy the enter door again, ie.. over the filler before I put on the K-38 2K surfacer or am I sandwiching and should just go staight to the surfacer ie.. K-38? Thanks a million. Zach

You can do it either way, one to two coats of epoxy then the urethane surfacer would be best IMO. The epoxy is a far better sealer and moisture barrier than K-38. Your truck should last forever.
